I collected when I was a kid in the 70's, and my favorite team was the Cincinnati Reds, "The Big Red Machine". I collected into the early 90's and took a long break, picking back up in 2006, when my son started to take an interest in my old cards. I've been collecting and sharing my experiences with my son ever since. I collect mostly vintage baseball cards, but also some modern cards too, especially the GOAT's and those players with Hall of Fame potential.
