This example has great mojo to me. The lower right is all that bumps my eye. Centering is money. The corner wear excepting lower right is worn in just such a way that it doesn't bother me. I have a few cards just like that. This is an example I would buy and love.
This card has a lot of qualities that I look for in a card. Centering works for me on this card. Teardrop is well-centered also. Obvious corner wear but it does not take a lot away from the aesthetics of this card. The only flaws that really stands out are the white specks that can be seen on his shin area and the fish-eye on his shoulder.
This is making my A Tier. The wear is in the right places in the right amount to do so. That is what we call a centered oil drop, too! Centering and the edges are top top end to my eye. It's really only corners and that's where I am most forgiving based on how I look at cards.
alot of edge and corner wear and the sides and top which effects the appeal of the borders also. the card has surface snow that holds back the image and colors
