Obvious wear on the card from corners to the creases. Solid B tier example as it presents very well for all the imperfections. Probably a great price performer.
Nice image and the color on his cap and jersey looks nice. The background looks a little faded though. The surface and corner wear and centering keep this at a nice looking B tier for me.
This card survives my cycloptic scrutiny with its dignity very much intact. A high eye appeal showing, with low volume flaws noted.
This '1' is gonna have one heck of an EyeQ+ score, I can tell that! 1s should NOT get Bs and higher if the system got things right! Not big problems here, just centyering is low and basic corner wear.
This may be "King of the 1s." Hard to imagine another in its grade outranking this when the dust settles. Centering is the only issue for me. The gentle creasing is a blessing here as it keeps the price down while not grabbing my eye in a bad way at all.
Good looking card with hidden flaws. It has some creases thru the face and hat but it blends into the card. The borders are showing signs of aging and discoloration but since it is even all around it looks like the card could have been made that way. The image is good

The card is well for the 1949 set but it does not appeal well to my eye. That's not to take away from the color and surface that look well for the image. The edge wear, OC and creases hold this card back.
