Epic mantle - wish centering was better

The color presentation on this 1958 Topps Mantle remains quite respectable, with the red and yellow retaining enough richness to give the card a pleasing visual presence. The principal drawback is the centering, which is noticeably off and detracts from what would otherwise be a much stronger composition. The imagery and overall color palette show some fading, but not to the point of substantially diminishing the card’s character. Despite the centering issue, it remains an attractive example with solid overall eye appeal.

Clean but centering opportunity

Centering along with some pd issues keep this card from landing in the A tier.

Comparatively minor PD issues in the red background, though a few still pop out to my eye. Centering is the other issue. Other aspects land in the top tier. Overall eye appeal therefore lands for me in the second level.

I like the overall look and the image and colors are solid it is held back by a few minor blemishes and off centering
