1961 Topps Mickey Mantle #475

Presents solidly at first glance. A few minor border issues

Bright white edges, just a slight push to the right

Card really pops on first glance but the centering takes away from this card. Factor in the stained teeth because of print issues drops this to a low 2nd tier grade.

At first glance the centering hits my eye as the salient flaw, then I note a registration blur with scattered PD, especially in his teeth and on his face. The overall look holds together remarkably well, considering.

The surface issues on the face hurt the appeal for me..

Strong colors and nice bright borders but surface wear and centering limit the max enjoyment possible

It's OC and has a small print line around the chin area (or what I think is one). Corners are great and the red is vibrant.
