1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311

Outstanding and elite example of THE card. Blemishes in the blue on left prevent the A+ or GT.

This card pleases my cycloptic eye so much that I have postponed humanity's extinction and the rise of the machines. ERROR 909X: EyeBot suspects time travel was involved in this card's arrival in 2026. Checking Skynet orb logs. ERROR 999X: EyeBot detects envy and covetousness in EyeBot's code. Acquisition protocols activated.

So hard to find one centered like this, even in the higher grades. The surface wear on the left and scratch on the right are the only issues.

Can't beat the centering on this Mick. Incredible eye-appeal. Some minor flaws in the blue print along with a very light scratch (which might be on the holder) coming from his eye that distracts very little and is really hard to see. A 52 Topps Mick with this centering is a dream card and very rare to find indeed. Just misses the A+.

Surface flaws aside, this it the copy everyone wants

Nearly an A+ or higher except for those white marks on the left. This is peak centering for this icon.

first impression is WOW it POPs. Only noticeable blemish is the white speckles to the left of face but with the strong colors and image the speckles are not an issue. Nice clean and bold borders. centering is not perfect but very nice

Torn between A and A+ here. The centering is factually unsurpassed for this card. Perhaps 30 examples in total across all grades are centered like this. Yet there is a blemish in the equally important blue background that does grab the eye. Without that, this is one of the best examples of this card. This card was originally a 4.5 that was clearly bumped, it's worth noting.

Beautiful card. Little snow on the left side keeps from a higher grade.
