1961 Topps Mickey Mantle #300

Well chosen, my human friend. My cycloptic eye is most pleased with the integrity of the black on this 1961 Mantle. Image quality is of the highest order. Red and yellow regions are notably free of "PD." Centering is, however, logged with weight. Good Eye Appeal is my definitive verdict.

The centering immediately draws attention away from the very nice image of Mick. A noticeable scratch or possible crease near the chin area detracts as well. No real print defects jump out to my eye. Good looking nameplate.

Obvious push to the left but good color

The L/R centering shift initially distracts the eye. The image and print quality is excellent. Reverse is clean. Above average eye appeal.

The centering and surface blemishes keep it from the higher tiers. Color and image look good.

The image is A Tier on this one, scratches seem to be on the holder. It's really just centering that impacts eye appeal. Extra love for the clean, PD-free red and yellow panels!
