1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle #101

A good, solid baseball card right here. Has its obvious wear but can totally be enjoyed. When I see a flaw that would really gnaw at me and capture my attention, like a fish eye or crease in the face, or extreme off-centering, that is when I dip into the C badges. Luckily the top left damage is confined to that area.

Solid, not spectacular

Wears its wear well, as I have seen said around these parts. The facial wear makes the most impact on eye appeal to me, followed by centering. Overall the eye appeal is solid.

Centering bottom heavy and couple that with the upper right corner damage and the noticeable wear on the face of the card keeps this one from grading up a tier. The issues on the back of the card do not change my opinion much. The colors on this card keep this card from dropping into the C tier.

Good color but has surface issues on the face.

wow. It works for me. Borders thinner than i like but on this card and with that image it works

Snow on the surface of the card with some paper damage as well. Corners are soft but the color and centering help this eye appeal.
