1955 Bowman Mays #184

I'd like to have a conversation with whoever designed the '55 Bowman set. Mistakes were made. That said, this one looks very good. The bottom right corner is an issue, but I really like the look of this card overall.

About as good of centering as you’ll find on a 55 Bowman - a notorious set. Edges and corners keep it in B tier - but this is a great 55 Bowman Willie that presents better than the majority. I’m guessing it’s EyeQ will deliver that same message!

Now I know i need this card. Slight wear on the corners doesnt detract from the caress beauty

A very nice image of Willies. Obvious corner wear but over all not a major detraction. The bottom right corner does s draw my eye just enough to keep this one just out of the A tier.

It's slightly OC with some whitening on the edges. Softer corners but still nicely presented with no surface issues.

Love the centering and image. No surface distractions at all, too. Just easy corner wear and that means high eye appeal.

I am a softee for this centering. When the centering is there and there are no issues within the TV/image, my eye is very forgiving on wear at the perimeter of a 55B card.

Like the look as a mid tier card. The paneling is ok and the centering is off but not dramatic. the card just does not stand out

Well-centered and surfaces look clean. Corner crease on the bottom right. Presents nicely.

No distracting common edge damage.
