1950 Bowman Larry Doby #39

Gentle push to the right & touched corners keep it from top tier but still a strong example. Update after grade reveal: my kind of card. Outstanding PSA 1!

Loving the registration here and centering is not too much of a dampener. Surface mark on the right doesn't distract me. If the back impacted PSA grade like I think it did, this is a MAJOR EYEQ+ card right here!

Such a great example of a technical flaw, namely a surface scuff, blending in so that it makes a relatively gentle impact on eye appeal. Centering to me makes a larger impact, actually. A very pleasing example overall.

Beautiful image and color. Some surface wear in the background. Not bad but noticeable.

If this card held more centered, it would be an A card all the way. Some surface paper loss hurts it too.

Ok centering with some staining on the right border detracts from this example. Great image of Doby with a touch of of white (possibly paper loss) seen in the upper left of the card is noticeable. Stain on the back is noticeable but does not interfere with reading the back. This example comes up just short of the A tier.
