1913 Pinkerton Christy Mathewson #251

That one white mark is really all that grabs my attention in the wrong way. It's very easy to focus on the main image, though. Great piece with very good eye appeal.

Some noticeable chipping and corner damage but overall a solid looking card given the age. The white chip at the top center is very distracting. Just misses the A tier.

Corners, edges and a bit of a dirty back. But it’s got a great image and nice surface.

Can't help but notice the modest chipping but can't help but love it anyways. I'd probably go B+ if it weren't so scarce so this bumps to an A-.

The image's crispness and contrast are a delight and I can easily shrug off the corner and edge wear; those flaws just don't scream out for my eye's attention. The spot of paper loss top center is all that prevents even higher eye appeal. Overall very good aesthetics here.

Nice mid tier card with surface wear and edge wear holding it back

Nice image. Some soiling and edge wear. Looks to have some paper loss at the top middle.
