1949 Leaf Jackie Robinson #79

Creasing, scuffing and some print issues are present.

The centering is excellent on this card. The obvious staining and damage/wrinkles keep this card in the 3rd tier.

The crease.

A lot of surface wear and soiling. Crease through the face and cap.

Obvious low grade but grading on a bit of a curve here. Despite the creasing it remains a very presentable Jackie RC

It's centered and you can see his face, but that is all that is really good coming out of this one. Still a copy many (including myself) wish I could even own.

Not bad condition for such an old card would be higher without the crease in the middle.

The centering and overall look somehow fights through the obvious wear, to a surprising extent. Assuming from the sheer degree of wear that this is a numerical 1 or 1.5, this is an example that punches above its weight class in terms of eye appeal.

This is Jackie so it is key. For me it is more of a place holder. The colors are strong and the main image shows ok but the vertical crease and the surface wear and staining holds it down.
