1984 Star Co. Michael Jordan #101

Top right and that nick on the top edge do stand out to me and keep it from the top tier.

Overall a great looking card. Love the color. I've seen better top to bottom centering though, and the corners and minor edge chipping lower the appeal just below A tier for me.

As a huge Jordan guy I have personally handled many 101s having owned a few in the past and having helped friends shop for one. I cannot hold the centering against this one. This card is always off to the left and of one isn’t then I’d urge exercising extreme caution. The colors on this one are as vibrant as I’ve ever seen. The image is crystal clear. Slight corner wear and a small ding on the left edge but these really dont distract from my enjoyment of the card. This punches so far above its technical grade and is a prime example of how PSA is overly harsh on the 101. This is a card made for eye appeal.

I like this card better than many of the other 1984 Star Jordans. This has the colors that are brighter and seems to POP more. The centering is an issue as most of these are. The borders have some minor nicks but nothing that is serious and does not bother me. The image and the color are solid. Nice card and better than the slab

A bit of chipping on the edges and centered a bit low. Image and color are really nice.

Very high eye appeal on this example. The red is so tough when it comes to wear showing up, yet this is very mild. Would crack the lofty A tier without the nick on the left edge. Strong eye appeal.

This is just the example I have been seeking of this classic card. Punches well above its weight. The edges are largely fantastic and the only flaw that impacts its eye appeal to me is honest corner wear. This is the one card that a centering guy like me gives a total pass to with the centering at this level. Great looking example and I look forward to seeing the EyeQ+ on this card.
