1948 Bowman George Mikan #69

Points for centering & intact image. Obvious creasing & looks like there may be quite a bit of spider creasing. Special card in any grade though.

Nice image and color, and the centering is a little off but better than average. The multiple creases are the main issue.

The top crease draws my eye and attention which holds back the eye appeal for me.

Top of the third tier of eye appeal and exactly how a C+ should look to me. Still presentable and frankly without that one most prominent crease this would crack B- for me.

the creases and other surface issues are what I first see and it holds the card back. The main image and the colors are still vibrant despite the flaws. The borders are mis-sized but the centering is decent overall

Iconic card but the creases bother me.

The creases overpower what would be better than average centering and nice color.

This is a case of the flaws being noticeable, yet they don't hit my eye in a way that wrecks the eye appeal overall. If not for that one stronger vertical crease, this would land in the B-tier for me. The key is that his face and most of the blue remain unmarred.
