Wow, Elgin RCs don't often come much nicer than this. Slight tilt, slight forehead mark, and a bit too much corner wear (esp for the grade) are the only things holding it back from an even higher designation.
Great color and registration. The white borders really pop. Centering tilt and surface scruffs in the red keeps from a higher grade.
A Color A+ Registration B+ Cut / Centering note: this 1961 Fleer Baylor among the toughest vintage cards (in any sport) to find centered.
Love the centering and the unblemished color; but I am super OCD with any marks in the central subject's face and there is a white mark in his cheek that holds my eye too much to go higher here-- even though centering is my second biggest criteria. I will concede that perhaps they all have this, as I am not too familiar with this card. If that is the case, will grade them all accordingly.
Perfectly centered and great color. The marks around his head is the only item taking it out of god tier but an amazing copy.
This is an extremely difficult card and is from the most miscut set of all time. PSA doesn't even grade this card anymore (they always refuse cards 1-6 as they were all factory cut narrow). For those unaware, the mark on his cheek is not a print defect, it is present on all copies. This is a top 2% copy of this card. That said, it has a hair of tilt/diamond shape to it, so I'll say A-
Very clean looking card. I think it presents well and the color pops
not a Basketball card person but the card looks good. The colors and image does not pop but it is very clean looking

Solid centering and only one PD in his face. Not a corner guy yet I do see how they could be a little stronger.
