1961 Fleer Bill Russell #38

This card's a great study in flaws that don't annoy the eye. There's some left edge that I can see bothering some collectors, but I find I have to look for it, as opposed to it finding me. The green and blue are clean, centering is very good, just an overall pretty card that shows why this community is needed, as the technical wear and number grade (assuming the edge wear resulted in a 3 or thereabouts) really do not tell the whole story.

Edge wear and some surface wear in the blue. Good centering.

Like the look of the card and the colors and its contrast just work. Card is mostly clean and bright. Centering could be better but works for me

Very good eye appeal; the left edge wear is fairly easy on the eye, making only enough impact to reach the B+ band. And that centering is in the A Zone for me.
