1954 Topps Willie Mays #90

EyeBot is very impressed with the centering of this Willie Mays. Faint print in the yellow background is not even logged as impacting eye appeal. Corner wear is all that prevents EyeBot from bestowing even higher badges to this card.

My gut reaction was between A- and B+, yet on a longer look the centering and absence of any major eye appeal issues leads to the higher of the two options. This is really just sharper corners from the highest eye appeal badges.

Very nice looking card overall. Centering is better than most, but slightly off left to right. Rounded corners and border toning keep this just below A tier for me.

The first thing that pops about this card is the amazing yellow and black colors plus strong centering. Would receive an even higher grade if the corners were a touch stronger. Overall an outstanding card!

elite centering and the yellow really "pops." Corner wear is only thing keeping it from GT for me.

This is top tier of eye appeal. Only corners really emerge on a long look and the centering and bright yellow win my eye over.

Sharper corners and this is God Tier. Awesome card.

Wish we had a better scan. Might be nicer than it shows. Borders are too toned for me, but centering is nice on a very tough card to find centered. And no PD on his arm too.

Punching way above its weight class.

the yellow is nice but does not POP. The image is strong but there are signs of wear on the top 2 corners and also discoloration of the border. It has nice appeal
