1951 Bowman Willie Mays #305

Solid fastball of a Mays rookie. Good eye appeal with centering and surface issues that are not party-wreckers.

Good overall appeal driven by great registration and how the flaws avoid Mays' image. Centering is just outside the strike zone. Surface wear alongside one vertical print line are secondary concerns that make some impact. The numerical system likely says 2.5-ish given the wear here, which would be a failing grade; I, however, see much better visual appeal than that.
