1951 Bowman Willie Mays #305

Strong centering and color on the front, and back looks very clean. Only thing knocking the gray down the hair is the toning on the borders. Otherwise, a very nice example for the grade.

Amazing centering and registration. Only a couple surface blemishes and gloss loss on the corners detract.

Liking this a lot.. It does have the common vertical print line along with some heavily toned borders; But the great centering leaps out, and registration/colors are plenty good enough for me.

The centering looks amazing and this is a tough card to find centered. The print line and toning, especially in the corners, keep this from an A grade to me, but still a great card.

Really nice centering. The heavy toning and print lines hold it back for me from the A-tier though.

The centering is just so good here I have to give it a high mark. It pleases my eye to look at and that is what I am grading. Subtract that faint vertical line and this is an A to my taste.

Beautiful copy of this card. I love the centering in a hard to find centered set. Yes, there’s surface issues and print marks but I’d be very happy with this copy.

I cannot get past the yellowing/ageing showing in the borders all the way around.
