Strong centering and awesome color makes this a killer copy. Edges and corners are notoriously tough for this year of card, but this copy comes off near perfect in that regard.
Yes, I see some snow in the background but the rules are the rules. Given how damn strong every other aspect of this card is, the snow just doesn’t bother me one bit. If I was in the market for this card, I would do backflips if I added this to my collection.
I look the overall look of the card but sadly to much background snow that effects the color and the image
I love a good ’62T. The edges and centering stand out, and the image is nice and crisp. Just a touch of snow is my only note, but it doesn’t impact the presentation much for me.
My cycloptic ocular sensors detect great beauty here, impacted only by what collectors sometimes call "snow." The extreme pleasing effect of such pristine edges on cards from this set (similar to the 1971 set) is noteworthy. My review is thus favorable, and would be significantly higher with better centering and less snow. My acquisition protocols are becoming harder to suppress.
A bit too much snow in the background throughout the card. The centering and fisheye on the left border do stand out.
It's gonna come down to where in the Top Tier do we think this lands. For me that wood grain edge and corner sharpness plus the bright Say Hey smile drown out the snow to a large degree.
Image looks great, and the corners and edges are free of the typical wear and chipping due to the brown borders. Nicely centered as well. Snow in the background keeps this at an A- for me,
I want to bust out the God Tier badge on this, as it has serious mojo; something about the color, the edges, the image focus, it really is more than the sum of the parts. The scattered snow will keep it at an A+ but man this card pleases my eye enormously.

Mojo. Swagger. "It" factor. Some cards have it. Some don't. This one does. This site has crystallized for me the concept of: does the flaw really matter to my eye, and if so, how much? Here, the snow matters, but it's the distance from GT to A. There's something about the color on this, plus the smooth edges and three of the four corners, it really just comes together.
