Nice looking WJ! The deep yellow saturation and gently changing tint is the strength here for me. Really well facial registration too! Holding it back are some apparent specks on the face and in the yellow along with centering shift slightly left. The symmetrical corner rounding doesn't bother me much. Appealing example!
Print spot or stain just above his head is noted but this looks like a great, high eye appeal, card to me.
Solid eye appeal with a bright and focused main attraction in the portrait. Centering, corner, and edge wear are commensurate with its age and it wears these aspects well.
always love when cards over 100 years old are so bright with nice strong colors. There is some print defects/imperfections but mostly blend in and the corners are rougher than i like
