1909 T206 White Border Ty Cobb #green Portrait

This is why eye appeal remains a fascinating alchemy as opposed to science; even for a collector like myself who finds centering to be so critical, somehow this Cobb holds my eye in a pleasing way. It has mojo, can't deny, and while its flaws would initially make me think C-Tier for sure, the longer I look at it the more it works its charm on me.

Great color, but too much corner and edge damage (plus the centering).

The edge wear, crease on upper left, and centering hold it back. The card does have nice strong color with a beautiful image.

obvious crease and corner wear. But the image is clean and the colors are solid. Easy card for me to enjoy as long as we know its limits
