1911 Turkey Red Ty Cobb #9

A few pinholes and light staining around the card. I do like the way it looks even with the flaws. A great vintage piece.

This set presents a rather unique case to me in terms of reviewing eye appeal. Because the pieces are so large, I find my care less about the outer "frame" and really locks in on the whole image. In this case, all the wear that I notice is confined to that outer zone. So while it does adversely affect eye appeal, it is not to the same degree as were this wear and damage on the borders of a 52T or 57T card. Now if there was wear or damage in the actual image of Ty or the background, that is where I would be in the C tier or below.

This card belongs in someone's collection and the T3 Are the most beautiful cards around. With that said this card has many condition issues but they actually blend into the overall card and while noticeable not as dramatic as a result. The colors and image are still good. The issues are the staining and discoloration all over the borders. So while not having the best Eye Appeal it does still have appeal
