A Cobb RC in any grade with any amount of eye appeal is special.
The image looks good but the other issues keep cap this at a C+ for me.
The image has held up well, but the rest of the card has a mix of issues that impact the eye appeal for me.
Highest end of the third tier for me thanks to a clean Cobb image. The obvious wear at the edges and the marks/holes just above his head are the main aesthetic issues.
the image is presentable and mostly issue free but the rest of the card from surface wear, pin holes, edge issues hold it back. But again the main image is the key
Eye appeal lands in the B zone for me as the main event -- that Ty Image-- avoids disruption and any major flaws. Wear relegated to the perimeter is clutch here, especially for me on these larger cards where I find myself more easygoing on edge wear and corners.
Scarce card for sure but too much surface and edge wear along with the staining detracts from the eye-appeal for me.

EyeBot notes how the damage on this card harmonizes with the black-and-white aesthetic. EyeBot notes the key central image of the player, Ty Cobb, is unmolested by damage, an aspect I am programmed to consider. EyeBot is thus pleased enough with this specimen to place it in the very respectable B Tier.
