1971 Topps Thurman Munson #5

Edges and corners are in the A Tier for a 71 and so centering becomes the lone issue here.

When I look at a 71 Topps card, I immediately look at the corner and borders (for better or for worse) and this Munson is a solid B+ to my eyes. Only thing holding it back from an A is the centering but almost all copies of this card suffer from centering issues. Really handsome example that looks nicer than the assigned technical grade.

The main image and colors are good but do not POP The border are the issues from size, to centering, to the chipping on the black A card for many just not for me

Heavily off-centered to the right (when viewed horizontally) and snow in the black area are the main issues.
