1939 Play Ball Ted Williams #92

Even with the centering shift I have to go to A+ on this Splendid Splinter, because the overall eye appeal impression is just that strong. The centering would take this to GT.

Outstanding condition with only a touch of centering holding it back from the highest possible score. Beauty!!

As clean as they come. Shockingly fresh!

Borders look very clean and the image looks great. Centering is shifted to the bottom right a bit.

Centering. Make it a smidge better, and it's a God Tier card. WOW.

The bright white borders really stand out. I don't recall seeing one of these with brighter borders. Some snow in the background and a left to right centering shift are the only issues.

I am a sucker for centering and this is obviously a touch off. Those white borders offset any other issues though as they are just so impossible crisp.

Even as someone for whom centering is so critical, this card steps into the room like a movie star.

love the big bold and bright borders and how they frame the image. brings me back to the days of small old black and white's. there is some speckling on the card and the image is good but not as focused as i would like
