Rounded corners, off center, and small tears on top edges. Still fun to look at.

Incredible registration on a card obviously notable for lack of focus. Combined with the 1 grade.. Wow!

Such a difficult card. Awesome copy for the grade too. Registration looks pretty good, especially considering how tough it is on this card. Centering is well above average too.

Looks better than the grade and has some wear around the edges and the corners

This is a card where examining all other graded examples can give you a sense for just how rare a nicely centered and registered example actually is. This is a unicorn example of a PSA 1 for this short printed and highly important card of the all time great Satchel Paige. Kudos to the owner for finding and acquiring this true gem!

Super strong for a 1. The focus stands out on this notoriously out of register classic. If either the centering or corners were a hair better, we'd be in the A's for a 1. As it stands, still punches many levels above its weight.

So clean for a 1. Despit the white gap between the left side of his face and the yellow background, this example shows exceptional focus for the issue. As close to god tier as you can get for a PSA 1 of this impossible card, only centering keeps it from achieving GT.
