1949 Bowman Roy Campanella #84

Just can't believe how clean and crisp this one is. Love the white blemish free borders and strong centering. And that orange background which makes this Bowman set one of my favorites like I'm tripping on something. There are some faint lines on Campy's portrait but it just makes it even better.

Pretty solid centering, corners, and colors so no complaints for me.

Such a beautiful clean example. Not a lot to find wrong with this one.

Today is my 50th birthday and it was a treat to see this card here with my morning coffee! There is a click of centering to the south but the overall impression wins the day and that flaw just does not register. I find myself thinking, "This is a gorgeous card," not, "Gotta improve that centering." I would not seek to upgrade this bad boy! Excited for the reveal; anything less and an 8 or higher from the old number system and it's a cardboard crime!
