Strong centering, good color, surface wear on his face is the main detractor, and uneven corner wear. But a nice card for what is probably a lower grade copy.
Note: All 1952 Topps Campanella cards have the top border tilt. Thatβs how it was designed. Eye appeal grades while thinking about this cards from 18β away = A Centering B Surface & registration (minor) A- Edge & corners
The surface has a few scratches and some wear. Corner wear is uneven. Overall, the card still presents very well.
Great centering for a 52 with a slight tilt. Surface damage on and around the image is the main issue and keeps this at B tier for me.
Very good eye appeal that nearly cracks into the A- band. Would look A tier at a casual distance in a wall case, as those surface marks at a closer look are what impact eye appeal. The centering is especially great.
the card looks better from a distance then close up but the card still looks good. The Issue is as you are closer the surface wear in the forms of white lines and other issues around the neck and face hold the card back. The color is good and the borders are nice size but off centered

Nice color but corners are round and some surface abrasions.
