At first sight it was really cool to see a high grade Carew rookie on here.. Then I realized it's a 2.5. Crazy. The white & brown border makes any corner imperfections mute in my opinion. I'd only wish for 50/50 centering but I'm just being picky
This is a shocker of a grading company grade. Small amount of tilt.
Beautiful card. Slightly off center top to bottom and some soft corners prevent a top two score.
Really, PSA grader? Maybe the burlap is hiding some wear. But I can't see it at first, second, or third glance. Mild tilt is all I see.
Great looking card at first and second look it has the Eye Appeal. Slight slant but otherwise a Wow
Even with the horizontal centering slightly off, this is about as strong as a 68 can present. What matters here is the visual appeal, and this card has it in abundance. The surface and print carry a strength that elevates it well beyond the technical grade. Anyone too critical of the centering is likely missing the bigger picture.
Great looking card. A tiny bit off centered is the only thing bringing down the grade out of god tier.
Oh Grading Companies, how much crack do your graders smoke on lunchbreaks? Maybe there is something under magnifying glass that causes this TPG opinion but I sure cannot see it. I see slight tilt which takes it down to A- for my eye. But high eye appeal here. Looks more 6.5ish to me and that is just on the corner wear.

Card presents sooo much better than the technical grade. The beauty of this example is that the imperfections are on the corners where they donβt take away from the player, the photo, the color, etc.
