Gorgeous example. One of my favorite sets and players. Edges are pristine
Just about four dark black corners.. Insane. Great centering on top of that. Top tier example
Great card in a tough set for eye appeal, only item taking it out of "God Tier" for me are the small print dots on the top black of the card.
So, those 1971 Topps cards? Absolute classics, but they're famously tough to get in pristine shape. It's that black border—it's just notorious for showing every tiny flaw, and they almost never come out nicely centered. So when you see one that’s as sharp and well-centered as this one, it’s like hitting a little cardboard jackpot. It’s really one of the nicest '71 Topps you’ll see around. The area around the word "pitcher" looks snowed or it is God Tier. Maybe its the case, if so... I'll revise this review.
A black bordered beauty. One of the best looking cards of the decade and a great looking example. Honest corner wear but a top notch card.
Good looking card has some minor edge wear and what looks like some pixelations/colorization in the banner
Fantastic centering and super nice edges and three sharp corners. Only one corner holds this card back from A+ or even God Tier. Either way, this could easily be an 8 but that does not matter when looking at this superb example!

Little bit of corner wear and edge wear, along with some stains in the yellow prevent a higher grade. But this card has excellent centering and strong appeal overall.
