Centering is off left to right and has typical border chipping for this issue
I'm a centering guy yet for 71s, edges and corners like this really please my eye. This is one of my favorite baseball cards since I first saw it at about 12 years old.
This year is tough, and the Opeechees are tougher. Still the centering makes this a pass for me.
A beautiful survivor from a notoriously unforgiving issue. For a 1971 O-Pee-Chee, the centering outperforms the norm, with a modest left to right lean and a slight north to south drift that never steals the eye. Print registration is commendably true, keeping the portrait and lettering crisp. The overall presentation is composed and appealing, a quietly excellent example from a set where such balance is rare.
Pretty damn rare to see a 1971 card with no chipping on the borders. Especially only a 7. Great card.
unless you look close you do not notice the minor off center and the colors ever ride all else. They all just POP and the surface is clean
The OPC's for 71 seem to have richer color than their Topps cousins. The corners and edges on this Black Bordered Beauty are outta sight, and overcome the centering that leans right. On the fence betwen A- and A here in beauty; the sharp corners and edges because of it being a 1971 carry it up.

Centering is the only problem, this is so sharp.
