The 1957 Mick, for me, comes down to two aspects: image quality and centering. It's a card worth hitting the COMPARE button on, as you can better see the variances in these attributes. The dark background makes the centering of the white borders hit the eye more, and here the shift grabs me the wrong way. His face can also often be found with much better detail and focus.

Centering is pretty off on this one and the image is a bit dull. This is a corner grade from PSA.

Only the centering holds this back from a higher score from me. Well preserved beauty right here

Super sharp as you’d expect from an 8. Hardly any surface issues but the centering is noticeably off. Would be more than happy to own this

The centering is just so noticeable on the 1957 Mantle because the borders are white and the card image so dark.

The card is very clean and the image is strong loses it slightly on the off center
