Beauty or eye appeal to me comes down to, can I ignore the flaw or does it keep calling out to me. I can only sit back and smile at the level of centering on this infamously OC card. I notice that and the great image and then go oh there's a wrinkle there, that's why the grade. But for me the point is that wrinkle does not bother my eye because of how subtle it is and where it is. So it does not bring down the eye appeal to me. Can stare at this one a while!
This centering is extremely rare, and even the corners have great shape. The wrinkle is hardly noticeable when simply taking the card in, visually. I see it, but I don't say, "Yuck." I say, "Eh, it doesn't bother my eye like poor centering would." This is a super special card. If the wrinkle went through his face, C- at best. There is auto placement and then "wrinkle placement!"
This one stuns as a 1.5, but it’s hard to ignore the scratch going across the card.
This copy is a near-masterpiece, commanding attention with its exceptional qualities in every respect but one. The unfortunate crease keeps it from the pantheon, yet its presence still exudes a rare charisma. Without that flaw, we would be speaking of it in God-Tier terms.
If there is a better centered example of this card, I hope to see it one day. Bust out your ruler for this card. And if this crease is barely visible now, I wager I could not see it in my display case.
Simply in a different tier than other low grade 57’s, and that’s the point of Eye Appeal! I’m shocked at the crispness of these corners paired with super strong centering. It does have a crease, but it’s fairly unnoticeable. Give me this card!
I do not like the coloring of the borders or the crease(although it is subtly and not highly visable at first glance)

A+ Color A Registration / Surface A+ Cut / Centering from 18” to 24” inches away, this card’s eye appeal is SUPER DUPER. only the crease in the middle area of the card is holding this back from the next level. Talk about value and eye appeal for the grade.
