1954 Bowman Mickey Mantle #65

The surface has some soiling. Well-centered with subtle tilt. Image of Mickey is unblemished.

Has generalized wear yet solidly in the good eye appeal bandwidth to me. The image pops and pleases.

I am a fan of this 54B Mick, which retains higher end eye appeal despite some general wear at the corners, a crease in top left, moderate centering shift, and some PD that can often affect this card. What's great is that the aforementioned flaws somehow add up to less than the sum of their parts. The surface is largely clean and most critically The Mick is focused with nothing getting in between him and my eye. If the numerical system did its usual thing with this level of wear, we should see one heck of an EyeQ+ on this bad boy.
