The pinhole and damage on his hat kill this copy for me. Appears to be a second pin hole on the bottom border and a crease on the right side. If you are on a budget and you absolutely have to have a copy, you may still be able to enjoy this one due to the nice color and registration.
That main spot of damage just holds my eye too much. Points are saved because the rest of the card would be a B- to me.
A great card that many would love to own in any condition. The color and image look good but the centering is off and the crease and surface damage by his hat hold this card back.
The Commerce Comet's face escapes major damage, which helps the card's eye appeal escape the lower badges. That said, the centering is off and there is damage plus a pretty glaring vertical crease. Here these flaws do adversely affect eye appeal.
The paper loss/blemish on top of his head unfortunately takes a lot of the eye appeal out of this copy for me. Centering also holds the card back.
The eye appeal exceeds expectation due to how the wear largely avoides his face, and the blue remains mostly intact. Centering is about average for t his notoriously OC icon.
Tons of positives and opportunities. This card conflicts me. The Image is so Strong and the colors are strong and the Image POPs. The borders are big and bold and relatively bright. But Surface wear of the creases, spots and the pinhole just above the hat and the odd centering and the tilt of the borders/card. I enjoy looking at it but not for to long. This would be a place holder for me at best
Colors are very nice. Issues are the surface on the cap, crease, and centering which hold the card back.

This card fights hard to retain decent eye appeal despite sporting some major bruises from its journey through time! That severe damage top center is the obvious big issue. The face looks great and even the blue manages to look good even with that vertical wrinkle. The centering is average for this card. The good attributes rescue it from a straight D or D-.
