Centered better than most but still off a little with some tilt. Presents well but there is some surface toning / wear and corners are round
Great overall presentation. Centering could be stronger, but itβs still better than most examples.
Very high eye appeal grade for me, generated by the color, the top to bottom centering, and overall impression. Side tilt and corners are the areas I could see improving.
Great color and image on this example. Very minor light spots to the right of the cap. Tilt is the main issue.
I see beauty and am confused by the slab. I see big and bold and nicely centered within my acceptable range and I see a strong image and sharp colors that just commands attention This card stands tall and I am drooling and wishing it was mine
The blue and surface hold the eye here, and the centering/tilt level just makes it into the top tier of eye appeal for me. Great looking card.
Wow. This lands in the super tough A tier of eye appeal for me, which is extra rare for a 1952 Topps Mantle to earn--as so many are badly tilted and centered. The corners do not bother my eye at all really here as my eye is drawn to the well framed image and the blue is so smooth with no blemishes of any sort. Gorgeous Mantle!

This is one of the better looking Mantles. Curious to see what the TPG grade was here. There are no wrinkles or issues on the surface that I notice, and comparing to others the centering is well above average, though better centering does exist. Seems like that and corner wear are the only issues. I am torn between B+ and A- on this one yet the absence of issues in the blue and Mantle himself make me choose the higher badge.
