Oh HELL yes. For THIS card? The centering is really as great as a collector can hope to find in the wild. There is some scuffing inside the background otherwise this would be God Tier status. Proof right here that razor corners are not needed for a card to impress.
Wow. Wow. There is weakness or patchy-ness to the blue, but that is really it for me by way of eye appeal flaws. This centering is basically outrageous for this card and the corner wear is fine to me.
One of the best Mantle's I have ever seen. I love the surface and centering on this card, such a rare combination at this level. I would love to own a 1952 Mantle that looked as good as this one
So hard to find this card centered and this one looks perfect. Some staining in the blue background and border toning are the only issues I see.
The centering and image really stand out to me. Hard to find a 52 Mantle this well-centered. The blue background has a few blemishes but doesn't hinder the eye appeal. One of the best copies you're going to find.
I like the overall look of the card. I like the bold borders and the nice but not perfect centering. The Borders show discolor prevents the WOW factor but presents well. THe main image is strong and POPs the colors are good but the white speckling effects the blue background especially just above the hands. This is a Card I would go for. One of the Better Centered
This example towers in beauty over far worse-centered copies with sharper corners. The weakness in the sky blue background and the very faint yet noticeable staining in the top border cap its beauty ceiling at the VERY RARE A+ level, because boy does this icon look great when those borders are even all around. It just draws the eye right in across the aqua sea to the portrait. The centering on this copy is rare. I have catalogued well over 500 examples and only found 16 across all grades centered this well.
Color, centered, registration all perfect. Only item taking it out of god tier are the slight surface issues. Incredible card.

There are 1952 Topps Mantles, and then there are 1952 Topps Mantles that look like this one. They are basically two entirely different creatures! For me any Mantle that cracks into the "A Tier" is really special.
