My thoughts are in line with the TPG on this one. Personally, I would liquidate and expand the collection.
Quite the chunk taken out of the corner here. Tough wrinkles across the face as well. Suppose we have decent centering though!
Ah, the 1952 Mantle is a card that usually inspires awe. Its flaws include a significant missing piece, unfortunate centering, numerous creases, and faded colors. Collectively, they render it more a piece of historical sympathy than a showcase piece. In essence, it is a rather sorrowful rendition of a legendary card.
Large piece missing and significant creasing and wear. Would not qualify for a numerical grade from my standpoint with that much missing from a corner.
looks like some one tried to take a bite out of Mantle and even though I am not to concerned about corners when a chunk is missing that bothers me. THe card itself is faded and speckled and creased. From a distance it presents pretty well but when looking close at it it becomes very noticeable and bother some
