Centering and scuffs jump out but the eye appeal is still good because the main image and blue surrounding his face are strong.
It is nice yet the centering is off in both directions and there are white scuffs.
The surface damage and white marks are the main issue. Centering is off as well, but better than others I've seen. Still a decent example of my personal favorite card.
Flirts with a 'B' yet the centering both ways is what keeps it at a B- for me in conjunction with the white marks.
Respectable copy. Some surface imperfections most notably on his hand and against the blue backdrop, along with centering.
Paging Lord Slabington! I am a centering guy, yet wow this hits the eye lovely. No real cap blur. Deep blue by the face. No major tilt.
I've looked at a lot of 1952 Mantles in this grade and this is by far one of the better ones. The coloring and better centering than most.
this card is better than the grade. Has issues with all those white speckles but it is not on the main part of the card and the overall colors are strong. Opportunity on centering but overall a nice look card

Difficult not to grade this card on a curve. Centering, surface and corners detract. Still an amazing card!
