Yeah this is gonna wind up being a numerical "1" and is exactly what a "1" should look like.
Any 52 Mantle is a great card to own, but this has too many issues for me to enjoy. It would be a placeholder only for me until I could find a nicer example.
A lot going on here, but my eye still goes straight to his face, which is a win.
Very worn with residue stains and multiple areas of paper loss warrant the lowest eye appeal grade in my view.
I hate tape and tape residue and then you add in the pin holes and the paper loss and it sadly impacts the appeal or lack of the appeal of the card. This suffers all those and sad because the colors are not bad and the white lines are noticeable but minor
