1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311

Nice color but the surface damage and centering hurt this card.

This was an interesting card to evaluate. It has some lovely characteristics; the blue background is clean, the surface has no wrinkles, the edges and corners are nice. Yet the marks/wear are just far too dominating, to the eye. If only those marks were off to the corners.

Paper loss plus severely off centered places this at the bottom of the eye appeal scale for me.

colors pop but the placement of the paper losses on the face and head is to distracting for me.
