1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311

The color is amazing and main image looks great. The crease on the left, centering, and back damage all stand out.

If that lone diagonal mark avoided his face entirely, this would be even more special-- despite average centering. The back does rise to level where I note it, yet backs for me are a minimal concern overall. To borrow someone else's term, the 'step back' overall eye appeal is undeniably nice here.

Great looking one even with the surface issue from his bat to nose

This certainly has better eye appeal than the technical grade, but the wrinkle/line through the face puts this into the C range for me and the back of the card is destroyed.

Front is beautiful and the back is awful. Normally I look at the back but is not key to me but this back is really bad with all the paper loss THe Front is a WOW Front. Sharp colors, strong image, nicely center. 1 white line from bat to face but nothing dramatic
