1961 Topps Mickey Mantle #300

The overall appeal is there, and is top tier. There are issues like some centering and PD that pop out at me on a long look but even then, I don't feel myself thinking I'd have to improve those things.

The PDs are a bit distracting, but nice overall.

Very bright good contrast.

A few surface defects and a touch off-centered L/R. Nice color.

like the look of the card. Nice size borders, sharp colors and nice image. Subtle surface wear most notable in the black background

Very good eye appeal and almost cracks into the A Tier to me. On the '61 Mick, the first thing I look at is the black background; there is only one blemish there, on the left side near the border. Then I check for any degree of the common print blemish that appears on his jersey; nothing there on this copy. Centering is very good and there are only subtle dots in the name plate with honest corner wear.

One of my favorite Mick's. Small soft corner wear on 3/4. Slight OC from left to right as well.
