This Mantle card stands out for the excellence of its corners and the precision of its centering, which holds true both from top to bottom and from left to right. While cards of this design frequently suffer from print registration that appears somewhat snowy, along with fading in the red lettering of Mantleโs name and the intrusion of Yankees yellow into the red circle, none of those common shortcomings appear here. The result is an absolute stunner that delivers high eye appeal with very little to fault in its overall presentation.
A very nice 68 mick here. A touch OC with some tilt - extremely common in the issue, but the surface marks/PD around his bat in the blue sky is what holds it back just a touch from higher ground. Beautiful card!
love the look and how well the panels and corners have held up. Framing could be a little better but well within my comfort level
A hint of subtle tilt but everything else looks very nice. Image, color, and surface look clean.
Perhaps two degrees of tilt from GT status. A beautiful example and one that would preclude me from ever seeking another.

If not for the slight tilt this would be God Tier. Incredible card.
