Im sorry but how is this not an A+. if the crease wasnt on his body it would be god tier
This is one of the best 1951 Bowman Mantle's that exists. Idc about the crease at all every other aspect is perfect. That is a $100k+ crease, and now you get a sick card for a whole lot less dough.
Pretty amazing card. The crease is maybe in the best place it could be. Impact on cost in a good way. Big impact on the number grade. Not so much on eye appeal. This is basically the card many of us are out there hoping to find in the wild. I'd bet all of us would take this one to own over a PSA 7 with terrible focus.
I can't go lower than A with that eye appeal, but also can't go A+ as I do see the wrinkle and some focus issues. This is a great card.
Even with that crease, I am tempted to give this card an A+. It's that pretty. That crease is like 1992 Cindy Crawford's mole. Centering is God Tier.
This centering is outstanding. The wrinkle is subtle, though noticeable. Registration is in my strikezone, minor blur to cap and bat. Corner wear at this level does not faze me. Backs are not my thing yet this one is clean. Bottom line: minimal distractions and great eye appeal. I have seen many an 8 with worse centering, and noticeably less borders all around. Those borders are BEEFY.

Outstanding color and well-centered. The vertical crease through the middle is the only issue but not too distracting. Great looking card.
