1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle #253

This card has some wear, and the t/b centering is off, but it earns this high grade for its rare, tight registration alone. SO tough to find them with such a clear image. Love this example.

Image is A+, that registration is on the money. PD in the name plate alongside centering are the flaws that affect the eye appeal— which remains in the good tier.

It's shifted, corners are touched, and the borders might be brighter but the colors and image are great and it still has beautiful eye appeal to my eye. Pleased to review it.

The main image looks good but the coloring is muted and borders and corners have a lot of wear

Toning and centering hold it back. Fisheye in the black name box.
