1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle #101

Centering and surface scuffs hold this one back.

Obvious centering shift holds it back but still a solid example.

Not a horrible card as the central image is decent. Centering, worn borders and surface issues hold it back.

Registration and some scrapes. Too many marks on Mantle's face to get in the upper tiers for me.

The main image and colors are good (blemish on face but not to dramatic. The border sizes and centering is off with the toning or staining around the borders.

Decent eye appeal with no severe issues on Mick, which is key; centering and some scuffing are the flaws I factor in.

Off-centered L/R. Surface wear around the face area.

Nice card. Shift left and some surface issues serve as primary headwinds toward higher tier. Solid color and registration. You can wonder what Mantle's thinking along with him when gazing at eyes
