1957 Topps Mantle/berra #407

Centering isn't terrible but is off left to right. That and corner wear keep this at B tier.

My cycloptic eye is dazzled by the crystal clear image; my comparison data indicates this card suffers from registration issues that result in blur and sub-optimal focus. Corner wear becomes a distant concern. Well chosen, my human friend.

The corners tell me it's low grade but the sharp image is what I notice most

Solid and respectable B tier eye appeal to me, as the image is free of loud distractions. Centering and corner/edge wear make an impact of course, but not much of one.

nice size border and good centering frame the card well. The images are good but colors do not stand tall and speckling that is especially noticeable on the dark sleeves and cap that hold it back

White specks on the dark sleeves and cap. Centered a bit low and to the left.
