Really, really nice. Bottom right has some issues that detract from eye appeal a little, but nothing dramatic.
Great example with nothing for me to note besides the thin right border; Admittedly pretty important for me, but many other strong characteristics here.. Most notably, incredible registration.
I've been "hunting" for the perfect example of this card over the past 12+ months. This one is close. The left to right centering and corners hold it back. Pretty awesome 1 though.
Quite pleasing overall; the centering is the main drawback, for my taste. Corners of that type are fine to my eye on cards this old, and the back is hardly ever a concern for me. I like the detail visible in his face.
Simply a good looking card that is better than the slabbed grade and any true collector would love to have. The expected issues on most of these Goudey Gehrig it is off centered and the borders are not as Bright as they could be from age and wear. some minor blemishes on the card But the Card still holds it overall color well and the image is clean and strong.
Phenomenal reg, very nice surface and good centering. Well-placed paper loss on back hits it just slightly. Way outpunches its weight class.
Top notch registration, but the centering, corner wear and paper loss on the reverse hold it back. That said, the eye appeal definitely exceeds the technical grade by leaps and bounds.
This is my kind of card. Registration is perfect, there are a few surface issues and the centering isn't perfect but this hits hard for a 1. Excellent find.

I dont care to find what made this a 1. This is gorgeous and why would you spend any more for a different number on the flip when you can have this.
